Why are fans happy when their team wins and sad when they lose

Because they were supposed to consistently bring the victory, fans are disappointed when their team loses. When accepting a defeat, a small amount of embarrassment is displayed because the loser was hoping to win. It may also spark debates against the rival team or even physical altercations amongst teammates.
